Mauro Mazzei

Mauro Mazzei is a senior research technician at IASI-CNR. He is an expert in GIS, Topography and Digital Cartography finalized to the survey, environment and territory, Cultural Heritage and Geomatics. He is part of the register FAR experts of the Ministry of University and Research of Legislative Decree no. 297/1999 as an expert in the subject area Civil Engineering and Architecture (surveying and mapping) and Mathematical and Computer Sciences (Operations Research). Research activities specific in the field of analysis of urban systems, Information Systems, Knowledge and Data Bases, Applied ICT: Environment and/or Cultural Heritage, Geomatics, Geotechnical, Transportation, Remote Sensing. Analysis and modeling of domains on the subjects of Geopraphic Information Science in the field of Open Source (INSPIRE Directive with standard OGC), conceptual definitions of type architectures SDI (Spatial Data Infrastructure) and co-design Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services. Analysis and planning by mathematical simulation models of socio-economic development and urban and regional mobility, definition of models and/or clustering algorithms in remote sensing techniques.
